Adoptions

Q:  How old do I need to be to be able to adopt a puppy?

A:  To be considered to adopt a puppy, you must be 18 years of age or older.

Q:  Is there an application to fill out for adoption?

A:  There is NO applications to fill out or a long process to go through to be able to adopt a puppy through us.  Most adoptions take place the same day the potential adopter inquires about a puppy.

Q: Are there any papers to fill out to be able to take the puppy home?

A:  Please contact us for that information.

Q:  Can I send a family member or friend to pick up my puppy?

A:  If you are adopting one of our puppies, you must show up in person to adopt and take your puppy home.

Q: How do I start the adoption process?

A:  Please contact us through our "contact us" form for more information. We take pet adoption very seriously, so we do not put that information on our website. We prefer to discuss that privately with our perspective new pet parents.

Q: Can I arrange a meeting to see one or more of your puppies?

A:  Because our puppies stay in private homes, we ask that you meet us out in a public environment.  And we charge a $10 non-refundable fee that must be paid online before the meeting since we have had "no shows" in the past.  If during the meeting you decide to adopt a puppy, then you just pay the remaining balance of the adoption fee in cash.

Q:  What happens at the adoption?

A:  You meet with us to take your puppy home after paying the adoptions fees, if any, and we discuss the adoption at that time.  We will give you a paper record of your new puppy's wormings and vaccinations and answer your questions. We ask that you bring a collar and leash with you so your puppy can begin from the start to bond with you and your family.

Taking in Puppies

Q:  I have puppies that I can't care for. Can you take them in for me so they don't go to the pound?

A:  We are very particular about the puppies we take in. We would need to ask you some vital questions before they are considered.  But we do take in most breeds big or small.

Q:  How old are the puppies you usually take in?

A:  We take in different ages depending on how many we have in at the time.  We also work closely with a few rescues, so it doesn't hurt to ask if we can take your puppy for you.

Q:  How many puppies do you take in at a time?

A:  It depends on how much room we have available at the time and how big the puppies are.

Q:  What breeds do you usually take in?

A:  The breeds that we usually get asked to take in are Pitbulls, Labs and different breed mixes. But we take in most breeds and in any color, of course.

Q: Do you take in moms and their puppies?

A:  Yes we do depending on how much room we have at the time.  We will ask you for specific information on her and her puppies.
